FAQ's

How do I mount the van kitchen refrigerator cabinet to the wall?

Our galleys are designed to mount to the vehicle's wall. You can measure and mark a section of solid wall truss/beam behind the cabinet to approximate before shooting a screw or rivet nut into the wall. We recommend a minimum of three rivet nuts or five self-tapping screws to hold the galley in place.

How do I install a refrigerator in the van kitchen refrigerator cabinet?

It is required to cut inlet and outlet ventilation holes for the unit to cool down without posing a fire risk. Refer to your refrigerator unit manual to learn more about airflow direction and ventilation requirements.

How do I know if the galley will fit my vehicle?

These galleys are designed to take up the space behind the driver seat in most vehicles. This unit may also be placed elsewhere in the vehicle.

What if I have a Promaster Model van?

The galleys are designed to have an angled cutout in the back of the cabinet to clear the dropped floor and allow the unit to sit flush against the wall. The Promaster models also have a structural pillar in the cargo section of the vehicle that will prevent the galley from being flush with the wall if mounted to the pillar. Because of this, we recommend mounting galleys to the left or right of the structural pillars.

How do I apply paint?

You will first lightly scuff the entire cabinet surface that you plan on coating with 120-180 grit sandpaper. Then you will apply 2-3 coats of primer before applying your main coat. Always apply a finish when you're happy with the paint to get a long-lasting appearance.

What power intake does the refrigerator take?

The DOMETIC line of refrigerators we use accepts 100-240V AC and 12V/24V DC.

Order Changes, Cancellations & Returns

We strongly advise all customers to read over our Orders & Returns policy.

Any custom specifications or changes to a Serg Supply product must be added in the Order Notes upon placing the order. Orders may be changed or cancelled only if production has not yet begun. If a request is made to change or cancel an order after production has begun but before shipment,a 25% restocking fee will apply to reflect labor and materials already committed.

Orders that include custom design or engineering work are non-cancellable once that work has been initiated. Orders cannot be cancelled after shipment.

Cancelling or changing orders of third-party products are subject to approval, and only if the product has not yet been shipped.

Order Damages

If damage occurs to your order through shipping transit, please notate on your delivery documents. This will be visible by the pallet and/or the shrink wrap being damaged. After delivery, please email contact@sergsupply.com with the details and photos of the damage to initiate a claim. More details can be found on our Shipping Policy Page.

Parcel

Orders with smaller items weighing less than 100lbs usually ship via UPS, FEDEX, or USPS.

Pallet

Any orders with items weighing over 100lbs or larger than 72" in any direction must be shipped on a pallet.

Each pallet is insured with liftgate service + residential charge applied. If you have a commercial address with a forklift, please state it in order notes for quicker delivery.

Local Pickup

Want to save time on shipping? Select the local pickup option at checkout and we will notify you when your order goes into production to set a pickup date. Only applicable to select products.

Product Warranty

Our unwavering commitment to outstanding customer service and product support is the cornerstone of our reputation and we stand behind the quality of our products and services with a 12 month limited warranty on all Serg Supply products. This warranty will cover any defects in workmanship or material under normal use. Any modifications to the products after they have left Serg Supply will void the warranty. During this time, Serg Supply will repair or replace products or parts at no charge to the customer if it proves to be due to a defect. If damage or failure occurs due to excessive or improper use of the product it will not be covered under the 12-month warranty. The warranty is applicable to the original owner only and is not transferrable.

Any third-party items offered by Serg Supply will be subject to the manufacturer warranty. Please inquire for more information of specific products.
